Using Brainrot on Multiple Devices

If you have more than one Apple device, here's what to know about how Brainrot handles multi-device usage.

How Screen Time syncs across devices

Apple's Screen Time can aggregate data across all devices signed into the same Apple ID. When "Share Across Devices" is enabled in your Screen Time settings, your iPhone, iPad, and other Apple devices all contribute to a single screen time total.

Enabling cross-device sharing

  1. Go to Settings > Screen Time
  2. Scroll down and toggle on Share Across Devices
  3. Repeat on each device you want included

What Brainrot tracks

Brainrot reads whatever Apple's Screen Time API provides. If cross-device sharing is on, your stats will reflect combined usage. If it's off, you'll only see data from the device Brainrot is installed on.

App blocking across devices

Blocks set through Brainrot apply at the device level. If you block Instagram on your iPhone, it won't automatically be blocked on your iPad unless you install Brainrot there too and set up the same blocks.

Recommendation

For the most complete picture, we recommend turning on "Share Across Devices" so your goal reflects your total screen time, not just one device. This prevents the common loophole of switching to a tablet when your phone is blocked.
