1. Introduction

Brainrot ("the App") is operated by Smolworks Inc. ("we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service govern your use of the App and related subscription services. By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and share information. Agreement to these Terms does not replace any separate consent required for processing personal information.

2. App Services

2.1 Features

• Block apps using iOS Family Controls APIs
• Track and monitor screen time statistics
• Access to historical screen time data
• Block entire app categories
• Set custom blocking schedules

2.2 Pricing and Payments

• The App is available through subscription options that may include:
  • Weekly subscription
  • Monthly subscription
  • Annual subscription
• Subscriptions may be purchased through the Apple App Store (in-app purchase) or directly via credit card on our website
• The applicable price, currency and billing period are displayed before you purchase. Available plans and prices may vary by region and purchase channel.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel within the cancellation deadline disclosed by Apple or at checkout.
• You can cancel automatic renewal at any time. Cancellation ordinarily takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period, with access continuing until then. Refunds or termination under Section 6 may affect access earlier, subject to applicable law.
• If a free or discounted trial is offered, its eligibility, duration and subsequent subscription price are disclosed before purchase. Unless canceled within the disclosed deadline, the trial converts to the paid, automatically renewing subscription described in the offer. Trial access after cancellation is governed by the offer and purchase-channel terms.

2.3 Cancellation and Refunds

• App Store subscriptions: You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com
• Direct (credit card) subscriptions: You can manage, cancel, and request refunds through our subscription management page
• Under our voluntary refund policy for direct subscriptions, refunds are limited to a maximum of 2 per account and apply to the most recent charge. These limits do not restrict any refund, withdrawal or other remedy required by applicable law.
• Approved direct-payment refunds typically appear within 5-10 business days; timing depends on the payment provider and your bank. Apple controls processing times for App Store refunds.
• Deleting the App or requesting deletion of your personal information does not itself cancel a subscription. Use the cancellation method for your purchase channel above.

2.4 App Blocking Functionality

• The App uses iOS Family Controls APIs to restrict access to selected applications
• Blocking is designed to follow your settings and schedules, but depends on iOS permissions, device settings and system behavior. We do not guarantee uninterrupted blocking or that every attempt to access a selected app will be prevented.
• You can configure different blocking durations and schedules within the App

3. User Rights and Obligations

3.1 Age and Consent

• You may use Brainrot only as permitted by applicable law.
• If you are not old enough to enter into these Terms on your own, your parent or legal guardian must agree to them on your behalf.
• You are responsible for protecting access to your device and any account or purchase credentials you use with the service.

3.2 Acceptable Use

• You must not bypass payment or access controls to obtain features you are not entitled to use. This does not prohibit using Brainrot's break controls, changing your settings or uninstalling the App.
• You agree not to use the App for any unlawful purpose
• You are responsible for your use of the App and must not misuse another person's account or purchase credentials.
• You agree not to reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code, except where applicable law permits it.
• You agree not to use the App in any way that could damage or overburden our infrastructure

4. Changes to Service

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue any part of the service
• Change subscription prices or availability
• Update these terms with reasonable notice

Changes are subject to applicable law and the terms of your purchase channel, including any required notice or consent for subscription price changes. We will provide reasonable advance notice of material changes where practicable, except where urgent security or legal circumstances require earlier action. If a change or discontinuation affects a paid subscription, applicable cancellation and refund rights remain available.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties beyond those required by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free screen time statistics or uninterrupted blocking.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, or removes any mandatory consumer rights, warranties or remedies available to you.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address a material violation of these Terms, fraud, abuse, a security risk or a legal requirement. Where practicable, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue, unless doing so would create a security risk or conflict with a legal obligation. We may also discontinue the service as described in Section 4.

If we terminate your paid access, we will explain the effect on your subscription and any applicable cancellation or refund rights. For direct subscriptions, we will stop future renewals when we terminate paid access. App Store billing is managed by Apple; we will direct you to Apple's subscription-management and refund processes. Termination does not remove any refund or other remedy required by law.
